Another lovely lady in Mount Carmel gone. I remember Nell going into my father’s shop (Mahons) in Castle St, Roscrea about 50 years ago. It was lovely to meet her again 3 years ago in Mount Carmel when I started visiting my relatives there. Nell was in an apartment then and she moved into the main house for some TLC! Nell was a very private person and she did not want people knowing she had reached 100 years. I will miss her sitting in the same chair beside the tv, watching all the sports and having a chat with the people around her. Nell’s family are lucky to have had her around for so long and now you are all left with your memories.
