Even in July we are busy preparing for Our memorial tree 2026, today the candles were ordered and will be delivered very soon, Benny and Cathy Hogan are busy getting the cards for the tree ready, they will be delivered here very soon and we have a brand new 16 foot Christmas tree, very carefully stored and ready for Wayne Cummins to put very lovingly in place. It’s such a special event for Us and we know how much it means to people in grief to be able to gather together and remember our loved ones.
Our Christmas Memorial tree 2026 will be on Sunday the 21st of December at 5pm. This is our 20th year that we as a community will be together to remember our loved ones. It is our privilege, and we are very proud of this service. The joy it brings us every year meeting everyone for such a touching service fill’s us with so much pride.
Every year for us this is the highlight of Christmas here at Grey’s, as we give back to such a special community. To watch how meaningful this service is to so many people, it is an honour to be part of this community.
We hope you can find some comfort at our service as you place a memorial card upon our tree and take away some candles to light for your loved ones on Christmas day.
Our official blessing will take place on Sunday the 21st at 5 pm, to include some light refreshments, music and poetry and a recital by Templemore Pipe band.
