Kiltillane, Templemore, Co. Tipperary & formally of Ard na Croise, Thurles.

Former teacher of Scoil Ailbhe Thurles, Scoil Cormac Cashel, & Our Lady’s Templemore. Died suddenly, but peacefully at home.

Predeceased by his parents Séan & Abigail, his sister Bríd (Landy).

Deeply regretted by his loving family;

Wife Mary, Son Déaglán, daughter in law Katherine(King), grandchildren; Finbarr, Freya, Lucas, sister Máire (Lonergan), brother Pacelli, nieces , nephews, sister in laws, brother in laws, extended family & friends.

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home Templemore this Tuesday Evening from 6 pm to 8 pm. Requiem Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart Templemore on Wednesday at 12 noon. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery Thurles afterwards.

I had Deuglán as a teacher in the eighties and he was a great teacher but also had a great love for the Irish music and culture. I recall numerous practises for the Slógadh competitions that he entered us in as a group and the great memories of travelling to these competitions around the country.
