The death has occurred of

Céline Connolly

Nenagh Co. Tipperary. 

CONNOLLY 9th August 2024, Céline, nee O’Gorman, beloved wife of the late Tom Connolly. Eldest daughter of the late Edna and Patrick O’Gorman, Athnid, Thurles. Predeceased by her sisters Patricia, Mona, Angela and her brothers Fr John and Michael. Deeply regretted by her sister Sr Edna MMM and brothers Martin, Noel and Fintan, sisters-in-law Rena Ormond, Barbara-Anne O Gorman, Frances O Gorman and Anna O’Gorman, nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends. 

Céline died peacefully in the kind and professional care of the staff of Nenagh Hospital supported by the loving care of her cousin Brigid Cosgrave, niece Ciara Ormond and friend Tom Delaney.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Grey’s Funeral Home Templemore, this Monday evening from 5pm to 7pm with removal to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Loughmore arriving at 7:45pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11.30am.  Interment in the adjoining cemetery afterwards.

    Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Céline on her death. I remember herself and Tom at 8am Mass every morning in St. Mary of the Rosary, Church, Nenagh. They were both friendly, pleasant and gentle and content in each others company. Lovely memories of Tom as principal of Nenagh Vocational School, many years ago.
