Gerard Moran

Toher, Templetuohy

Suddenly but peacefully on the 13th April 2026 in the care of St Theresa’s Nursing Home, Thurles. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Judy. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his brothers Paddy, Sean, Seamus and Tom, his sisters-in-law Margaret, Mary, Stella and Bernie, his nephews nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home, Templemore this Wednesday evening from 5PM to 7PM. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 11:30 AM in The Sacred Heart Church, Templetuohy, followed by interment in the local cemetery.

    Dear Paddy, Sean, Séamus, Tom, and all the Moran family,

    We were deeply saddened by Gerard’s sudden passing on Monday morning, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to you all at this very difficult time.

    Gerard was a much-loved member of our home here in St. Theresa’s Nursing Home. He brought great warmth to those around him, with his quick wit and ever-present friendly smile. He will be fondly remembered by all of us, especially for his love of sitting out in the garden in all kinds of weather, where he enjoyed many chats and moments of laughter.

    Gerard’s presence will be greatly missed by management, staff, and residents alike. He was truly part of our community, and it was a privilege to care for him.
