The death has occurred of

John Anthony Giltinane

Railway View, Templemore, Co. Tipperary, 6th of December 2024, peacefully.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Josie, devoted son Michael, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a very large circle of lifelong friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home Templemore this Monday Evening from 5 pm to 7 pm. Requiem Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart Templemore on Tuesday at 12 noon. Interment in St. Josph’s Cemetery Templemore afterwards.

    He made me feel so welcome when I visited Templemore in September 2024. I came to visit the place where our family roots are for the first time! John met up with me and my mum in a local pub and was so kind, funny and welcoming. I enjoyed every minute of getting to know him for that short time and the information on the family.
    What a great man!
