The death has occurred of

Patrick (Pat) Costelloe

Retired Garda sergeant, Richmond Grove, Templemore, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Tralee Co. Kerry, 4th of November 2024, peacefully surrounded by his devoted family in the wonderful care of the Staff of the Sacred Heart Nursing Home Crosspatrick.

Predeceased by his son Brendan.

Will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughter Sandra, sons Howard, Alan and Gary, sister Mary (Tralee), daughters in law, son in law, 12 grandchildren, 3 greatgrandchildren, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, Garda colleagues, fellow golfers and a large circle of friends.

May Pat’s gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home Templemore this Thursday Evening from 4 pm to 7 pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon in the Church of the Sacred Heart Templemore. Interment afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Templemore.

    I was with him on pilgrimages to Lourdes with the Cashel and Emily Diocesan Society. He was a solid man to be with and there were never
    a dull moment. Pat and Mary were very charitable and even took me into their home when I had a bout of sickness while in the GTC. I never forgot their kindness.

    Saddened to hear of Pats passing. I know he meant an awful lot to his family. Having never met him – I still felt Iike I knew him & Mary through all the lovely stories and memories shared by his wonderful daughter Sandra. I loved hearing them all. Packed alot into his years. He was absolutely mighty! My condolences to you. I hope he is reunited with Brendan and watching over you all. Rest in peace Pat x
