The death has occurred of

Geraldine Callanan

(Nee Stapleton), The Ragg, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, 17th of June 2023, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Beloved daughter of the late Paul.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Ben, adored son Kevin, Mother Rose, sister Siobhán, brothers Paul and Padraig, sadly missed by her father-in-law Ned, mother-in-law Jojo, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and a very large circle of loyal friends and neighbours.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home Templemore this Tuesday Evening from 4 pm to 7-30 pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at

3 pm in Saint Laurence O Toole Church The Ragg. Interment in St Michael’s  Cemetery afterwards.

Donations if desired to Suir Haven or Palliative care c/o Grey’s Funeral Home.

    I hadn’t seen any Instagram posts from Geraldine in awhile and did a quick search and was assented to see her passing. Geraldine and I were great friends when she attended Montessori college in Dublin. We had so much fun together! Many a laugh and she would often come over to my house and I had a lovely weekend in Tipperary with Geraldine and her Mum. She was always such a kind girl, full of fun. We spoke over the years over social media and her love for her family was so beautiful. I’m so saddened to see Geraldine has passed and pass on my loving condolences to her family.
