The death has occurred of

Myles McMorrow

McDonagh Terrace, Templemore, Co. Tipperary, and formerly Gubnageer, Rossinver, Co. Leitrim, 19th of May 2023, predeceased by His beloved Wife Helen, Father Myles and Mother Mary.

Deeply regretted by his partner Aileen, Aunty Kathleen (Sligo), Uncle James (Sydney), Nieces Ciara and Aoife, Cousins, in laws, Neighbours and many good friends.

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral home Templemore this Monday Evening from 5 pm to 7 pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon. Interment in the adjoining Cemetery afterwards.

    Myles came to Killarney on a respite break to our holiday home from the arduous challenge of dialysis treatment 3 days a week some years ago . He was so grateful and impressed with the facilities that he followed through with his promise to Raise funds for this invaluable respite center.. He organiised not 1 but 2 successful darts tournaments on New Year’s Day before and after covid and raised a huge amount of money each time, Myles was a giver and we will be eternally grateful of his support for this center which benefits so many more kidney patients from around the country today .     I am so sorry to hear this news. Myles was a neighbour and a great friend in our school going days. I remember he was great at metal work back then. He gave me a pair of tongs for the fire and it was used by my late parents for over 40 years. Everytime I saw these tongs we would speak of him. My Mam was one of his mother Marys best friends. My condolences to his partner and all who loved him. Rest easy Myles and thanks for being such a good friend to me.
